For a week, I went to Kirklees Local TV and became involved in the filming, planning and projects that they currently had running. I sought out this opportunity independently and enjoyed every second of it! Although I have limited interest in media, it enabled me to have "hands-on" experience and lessons using bigger & better cameras.
One of my favourite moments was probably the Huddersfield Town Press Conference.
I enjoyed being amongst a professional atmosphere and have a chance to use the bigger camera with headphones. It was also interesting to see the different media platforms, like Sky for example. It was good practise for me as well as I had to set up the camera link the audio and microphone and then pack it all back up again.
Within the week, I learnt alot more. I gained a better grasp on establishing shots and storyboarding along with sitting in on a seminar about team-work.
I spent alot of time with the team there, learnt about their different roles and what they'd done in the past. KLTV focuses on the kirklees communities and events/ issues that occur. One of these would be Huddersfield being rated as a bad place to live. In response to this, we went out on the streets and interviewed people about their take on this. I liked how this brought me out my comfort zone and gave me a new experience.

Thank you, I learnt a lot during the week, gained a lot of experience that I'll take with me into my future work.
This sounds really interesting, some real life experience. I like the way you have written the report and taken on board the world of work.
